Templates

Fill in the blanks. Copy. Done.

Write a prompt once, mark what changes, and reuse it in seconds.

  1. Write a template

Mark the parts that change with variable double braces. A name can be a word or a short phrase.

  2. Fill the variables

Fill & Copy asks for each value once, however often it appears. Presets keep the values you reuse.

  3. Copy the result

The finished prompt is on your clipboard, ready for any AI tool you paste into.

A template with two variables. Both are filled in, Copy is pressed, and the finished prompt is confirmed as copied.

Quick Access on MacPro

Any prompt, in any app.

Press Control-Command-P wherever you’re typing. Pick a prompt, fill it in, and it lands right where your cursor is.

Control-Command-P opens Quick Access from the menu bar. Searching “launch” finds a template, the Spring release preset fills its variables, and Fill & Paste puts the finished prompt into the draft being written in TextEdit.

Pasting into other apps uses the Accessibility permission on your Mac. Without it, the prompt is copied and ⌘V does the rest. The shortcut can be changed in Settings.

Version historyPro

Every edit, remembered.

Prompt Core keeps the earlier versions of a prompt as you change it, so the one that worked is never lost.

Line by line
Compare any two versions. Removed lines in red, added in green.
Restore
Bring back the version that worked, in one step.
Synced
History travels with the prompt to your other devices.

A prompt's version history: an earlier version is compared line by line with the current one, then restored.
